To accurately relate the biography of Cahill you have to go back to September 5th,1981. It’s a specific date because it’s the first time Bob and Scott ever met. Scott had been born four days prior and had just returned to his parents home in Billerica, MA. What set their paths together was simple: Bob’s parents lived right next door to Scott’s. Being the ripe old age of three, Bob was given no say in the matter and was quickly carried off to observe the newly born infant. He was placed in front of Scott’s crib, peeked in, shrugged his shoulders, and went off to play with a Cabbage Patch Doll. Bob stayed away from Scott for the next four years.

Scott’s ability to communicate using the English language is the next significant moment in The Biography of Cahill. Bob discovered that Scott, though three years his junior, enjoyed music and dancing. So the seven-year-old and the four-year-old went straight to pop-culture’s most influential singer and dancer at the time: Michael Jackson.

It would now be appropriate to cite July 18th, 1984 as another notable occasion in The Biography of Cahill: the date of their first musical concert. The duo chose the back patio of the O’Brien’s house. A popular outdoor venue of the time due to it’s open space, it’s lucious green grass, and the fact that Scotty was only four and it was as far from the house as his Mom would let him go. The crowds almost reached double digits as the two skipped about effortlessly as though no choreography had ever been present. Though they never actually sang a note, their lip-syncing abilities matched those of some of the greats: Britney, Ashlee, Milli Vanilli. Unaware of the forced adoration of the audience (comprised entirely of family members), the boys were hooked and spent the next 5 years as backyard dancing gods. Unfortunately, the band broke up due to creative differences. That and the fact that Scott threw a coffee can at Bob’s head. Needless to say, their dancing days were over.
