Ten Days. Ten Blogs…done!
So I missed a day. My excuse is legitimate though. There was never a moment to breathe never mind get to a computer to type.
Friday started at 12:00AM when we were driving through Illinois and stopped at a Super 8 Motel to sleep for 4 hours only to get back up at 5:30AM and drive into Missouri to catch a flight. Long story short, we landed in Boston last night (Friday), just in time for our show with Chad Perrone - which was a blast!
We showed off some of the new tunes that will be featured on our EP and joined in with Chad on two of his songs - “Blinded” and “Waterfall.” It was our first time playing at Club Passim and hopefully won’t be our last.
Well, it’s Saturday morning, I’ve yet to unpack, I’ve got a pile of mail to go through, and there’s no food in our fridge. I’m craving one of the meals from our trip - perhaps the Butternut Ravioli…maybe the Teryaki Steak. I think I’ll end up eating peanut butter and jelly…yum.
Anyway, the tour is over and the “Ten Days. Ten Blogs” was a success. As always, I’m going to take a break from blogging as I get back into the swing of everyday life. Scotty and I have some new ideas for the fall. Podcasts, videos, free music - it’s all coming soon.
Thanks to everyone who followed us along our trip. And to those new fans we met along the way, thanks for welcoming us and we hope you continue to check back and enjoy the music!
I leave you with a photo taken from the road. You see a lot of license plates when you’re driving - I think this one takes the cake.

Hey Bob and Scott!
Glad to hear you made it safely and successfully back home! Rebecca and I were jamming out to your music in my car last night - it’s pretty much the only thing we’ve listened to since we saw you at MSU a week ago.
I’ve followed your blogs and listened to a couple podcasts - they’re great, and you guys are so damn hilarious. I did happen to come across an archived YouTube video of your golden days, rough-housing when you were really young.. Hahaa. It was a gut-buster.
Is it wrong to hope that MCPHS-Boston accepts me solely so I can see you guys perform more often?! I’m excited for your new 5 song EP - tell us more about it when you get a chance (Influences for songs and such? Anything in there related to your Decatur, Illinois happenchance?) !!
Good luck with the new album and your upcoming shows!
About the PB&J - It’s one of my faves; the more peanut butter, the better.
Casi (MSU’s biggest Cahill fan!!)
Thanks for the kind words Casi!! It was a pleasure to meet you! I hope you get accepted, and not because Boston has some amazing schools, but because you can see us play more
