Open bar & A Good Cause.

We were invited tonight by the big wigs of Winchester, MA to provide music for a fundraiser that the town was having. They asked us to dress up which means Scotty and I wore ties. I must say it’s a very odd experience to play music while wearing a tie. I guess it’s something you have to get used to. It’s jeans and a tee for me and Scott always wears some zip-up turtle neck thing - it’s odd, but at least it’s not a shirt and tie.

It was a really fun night, especially when we realized it was an open bar. Something about alcohol being free makes you feel obligated to drink it. Needless to say, I think we fulfilled our obligation. Just trying to be nice, you know ?

The only downside of the evening was that because of this gig, we had to miss out on a certain band who was playing at Fenway Park. Yes, we had to pass on Mr. Dave Matthews and his band. I streamed his new album on Pandora, which we can be found on. The jury is still out for me, but I’m going to sit with the album some more and then form an honest opinion…i’ll keep you posted.

Anyway, a few pics from the eve are up on Flickr, and coming soon, studio blogs and updates. We’re gearing up to continue the work on the new EP. In case you haven’t heard it, there’s an acoustic version of one of our new songs that you can stream on MySpace…enjoy.
